Students Volunteer at Love is Served Dinner Program

Members of the Dental Hygiene Faculty and SADHA Club members volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Albany for their Love is Served Dinner Program. This program helps to feed the families that are staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their loved ones are being treated for various conditions at our local hospitals.  Families of patients ages 21 years or younger who are receiving treatment at Albany Medical Center are allowed to stay at the House free of charge. Our group designed a nutritious balanced meal so that the eight families currently staying there could enjoy a quality hot meal. Students were focused on a balanced meal but also prepared an incredible dessert to help lift everyone’s spirits.  SADHA Club member are planning a return trip to do another meal later in the semester.
